Are you interested in Night Photography? Do you love exploring badlands? Join me on an exclusive guided night photography workshop in the Avonlea Badlands located on private property in southern Saskatchewan.

The workshop begins at the Avonlea Heritage Museum in Avonlea Saskatchewan with an introduction to night photography presentation. Allowing you to prepare for your adventure under the stars!

After the presentation everyone will drive just out of town to the Avonlea Badlands. The badlands are located about a 15 min walk through mostly flat terrain before arriving to the valley for this unique opportunity to explore the badlands at night. We will be guided by museum staff as we find our compositions, the field portion will be approx. two hours shooting Milky Way and if we are really lucky (like my group in 2023) we might capture the northern lights!

This is a one night workshop with very limited availability in order to keep the groups small and quality of workshop high.
Each one night workshop will include:
7:00pm-9:00pm Night Photography Presentation at the Avonlea Heritage Museum
9:00pm-11:00pm in field photography instruction at the Avonlea Badlands
Workshop date options: Sunday August 11, 2024, Friday August 30, 2024 & Saturday August 31, 2024
